Hello! I’m Juanlu Barrales, responsible for the project that we christened “Avocado Málaga” in honour of the pillars that support this idea: avocados and the city where they were born and grew, Malaga.

It wasn’t long ago that I decided to get fully involved in the development of this idea that had been in our heads for a long time. How can we get our fruit as far as we can? And what is going to be the essence of this project? The answers came to us: we grow, we harvest and we bring it to your home.

The idea is to make you part of this project based on sustainability and care for the environment, giving you the opportunity to enjoy the best avocados from anywhere in Europe, from the small subtropical oasis that is the Axarquia.

Therefore, I finished my degree and decided to apply everything I had learnt to start this project and help my family to make this extremely delicious and energetic fruit known to each and every one of you.

Ideas, ways, opinions, etc. began to emerge, but we decided that the process had to be simple and make you part of it.

That’s why, every night, we collect all your orders, write them down and, the next morning, we go straight to the field. There, we pick out the best avocados one by one and then box them up and send them to your home. That’s all there is to it. No more intermediaries than ourselves
