His son, David Zayas Jr., replaces his father in some shots, as they look remarkably similar. Visible throughout the first season, Dexter has a large scar on his left side. Later in season two, the scar moved to the right side, leaving the left side without a mark.

The complex and broken characters, the twisted plot, and Dexter’s adoptive father grooming and educating him to make him the perfect avenger, it’s all intoxicating! Not only is this show well acted, with each main character captivating me, but it’s written with such a deep intensity that I can’t resist it! I can’t wait to see more of Dex’s childhood trauma, more of Harry’s lessons, more of his growing relationship with Rita, more of the ice truck killer, more of the forensics…
