Don’t get me wrong, I really like this show
In The Day of the Jackal (1973), The Jackal also drives a white Alfa Romeo, albeit an earlier model. Quoted in Graham Norton’s Liked It: Denzel Washington/Paul Mescal/Saoirse Ronan/Eddie Redmayne/Blossoms (2024). I would have given it a 9, but I can’t do that yet.
Great action and exciting to watch
But the female lead leaves a lot to be desired. She tries too hard to be tough and serious all the time. This has led me to not really like his character.
Redmayne’s performance as the Jackal is excellent!
In fact, I hope he never catches the killer. He has transformed a killer into a well-rounded character. Someone who is openly in hiding and also has a family to take care of.
